Strengthening neighborhoods through affordable homeownership since 1998.
Heritage Housing Partners (HHP) has built and sold over 160 homes to low & moderate income, first-time homeowners.
We are currently planning 51 more homes, with sales starting in 2019.
WHAT DRIVES US
Our commitment is to the long-term success of our homeowners
and the partner communities in which they reside.
We are a non-profit organization building
affordable homes for sale to low- and moderate-income first-time homeowners.
Our developments blend high-quality new construction with the re-use of older buildings.
We value design that is sensitive to local architectural character,
beautifying the neighborhoods where we build.
PARTNERS DRIVE OUR SUCCESS
Our most important partner is the homebuyer who purchases a home at a set affordable sales price based on their income. As this pays only 50% of the cost to build the home, we rely on public and private partners to “bridge the gap” to make our affordable homeownership developments feasible.
Financial partner support comes in all shapes and sizes. Individual donations are welcome and are tax deductible. Government partners are very common as HHP helps implement City and State housing programs. Private institutions are increasingly interested to partner with HHP to help solve housing challenges facing their members, clients and workforce.
Our volunteer Board of Directors partners with HHP’s professional staff to innovate for our mission. We created a first-in-the- nation New Market Tax Credit (NMTC) equity financing for housing, and we routinely implement new ideas to decrease development costs, increase operating efficiency for our homeowners, and deliver the best for all partners. “Because of the way all of you at Heritage Housing Partners extended yourself, my family is going to be in a new home. Our home. The first house I could call my own since I was a homeless 12 year old boy in Omaha, NE. Your cumulative faith and generosity has healed me. It has made me a better husband, a better father and a better man.”

"I wanted to express to you what a gift it is to live at Fair Oaks Court and to applaud Heritage Housing Partners in their efforts to build more communities like this one. I love our home and our community. My only disappointment with the community is that we don't have more homes to offer to new homebuyers who could benefit like me!”
